PCR Testing

If your child develops the symptoms of COVID; for example, a new or continuous cough, a fever or a loss or change of taste and smell, then parents and carers should not put their child into school and instead book a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. This can be done online here.

Arrival to School

Children should arrive at school no earlier than 8:45am. All classes have designated spaces in the morning before lining up.

Pupil Support Assistants or Teachers will be on hand in the morning to welcome children as they arrive at school from 8:45am onwards.

LFD Testing

Lateral Flow Device (LFD) tests are available at the school for members of staff. Should parents, carers or children over 11 require LFD tests, please visit the UK Government's online ordering portal by clicking here OR by visiting your local pharmacy.

You can order these for free.

Hand Sanitiser and Washing

The school will provide hand sanitiser to the children where access to hand washing facilities are not easily accessible.

In the interests of public health, children will wash their hands at least six times a day at school.

PE Kits

Currently the school is unable to provide changing facilities for the children to change from their school uniform to their PE clothing.

Depending on your child's PE days, children should come dressed to school on the day they have PE and remain in this clothing for the duration of the day.

Break and Lunches

Currently break time and lunch times remain staggered for the children and staff.

Children in P1, P2 and P3/4 (the lower school) will have seperate times from children in P4/5, P5/6 and P7 (the upper school).
