Children in Need in Primary 1

We certainly had a very exciting day for Chuldren in Need in Primary 1.

First we painted some fantastic Pudsey Bears to get our classroom ready for the big day. We also had a chat about some of the things Children in Need do with the money they raise. We learned that they want to do everything they can to help children be safe, healthy and happy. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Then we made some Buddy Dolls to send to children who have been poorly or maybe need a little extra support to cheer them up. We were all super excited to know that we were doing something to help another child feel happy. ๐Ÿ˜

After break, we had an urgent letter from Pudsey Bear himself!๐Ÿ˜ฒ

He had lost his spotty bandage during a visit to the school and was really worried he wouldn't be able to find it in time for the live show on Friday. We got a real shock when we read the letter, but we soon came up with some great ideas to help look for it. First we made some fantastic MISSING posters and displayed them around the school. Then we had a discussion about where he might have lost it and asked the other classes to help us look. FInally we searched the school garden and around the school building.

Thankfully, we found it in Miss Hutchison's office, where WAFFLE Bear was wearing it to keep it safe. It really was very lucky that we were there to save the day! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Thank you for all your hard work Primary 1. It really was a brilliant day. ๐Ÿคฉ
